2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
I thought this was a great verse, It reminds me that God did not make everything perfect here on earth as then we would no need him and he wants us to need him so that we will seek him and tell others about him so that they may seek him as well in order to be made a strong and faithful servant of the Lord. As He said "I never said it would be easy I only said it would be worth it".

this is so true!!! i believe that is why more people find God when they have hit rock bottom. when there is nothing else in this life to grab onto, God is waiting there with his hand out ready to help us get back up!
ReplyDeleteoh how easy we forget this as people!
I love that verse. When I read it, it reminds me of one found in the Book of Mormon that says this: "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them. "
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for God's grace and how patient he is for me to be humble. It's such a simple thing to turn to him, but it is so easy to neglect it. I can testify that he truly can help us to overcome and make our weaknesses into our strengths through our Savior's Atonement.
